Super busy – like a “mad” woman today..Haha

This morning, I am being told to attend the meeting initated by the CFO. My morning is usually very busy and i had lots to clear. This is already two days in a row having meeeting with him, not alone lar. Haha. Is a group of us, including the two new FC.

I am not aware that the meeting had already started so i went to level 2 for some work to be done and before i went back to 16th floor, H stopped me and passed me some gifts that she got it from China. So i am chatting with her about the trip. She is showing me her photos. Then M came down as well, when she saw me, she said “hey, i told you there is a meeting going on and why are you still here.” I am like “Ah duh.. you did not even tell me the time and i cannot possibly sitting at the desk waiting for the things to happen, right.

So i quickly rushed up and luckily they are just about to start and this went on for few hours and my whole morning is burnt. Did i mention that i am trying to clear the payables for my sub and it going halfway and when i came out, i realised that i need to rush to the bank for urgent matters to settle.

Meanwhile waiting for the documents to be ready, i decided that i should pop in to the gym for a fast workout before heading for the bank. I had never been so breathless before and i had a hard time catching my breath as well. Especially after a work out.

When i am back from the bank, i am being told that another bank documents had yet to be endorsed and i said, not me, i am super tired and i had yet to start the day work. The next moment that i know is already 5.30pm and i am still halfway thru my work. So i had to stay back to clear the work or else, tomorrow i still had to face with all these.

I find that after the office had quieten down and i tend to work faster and can concentrate better. Think maybe i can suggest coming to work after 5.30pm in future. Hahaha…Anyway, i am getting busier and busier and i owe people lots of outstanding. Is this good or bad, i wonder.

I better back to my study or else, i will feel like sleeping…

An adventurous ride home

It had been sometimes since i write a post. Today i decided that i should post something cause i find it quite disturbing. The urge for me to write this.

Yesterday, after a study session @ SMU, i took bus no.502. Luckily for me, i managed to have a seat. As usual, the bus will get crowded by the time it reached Far East plaza. Nevermind about that, this incident that i saw on the bus is reflecting on the behaviour of the people nowadays.

There is a  gal sitting near to the rear door and subsequently there is this woman standing back facing the gal sitting. The woman that is standing is carrying with her a very big backpac and the gal that is sitting down told her that her bag is hitting her. The woman standing her seemed to ignore her and did not do anything to avoid hitting her.

Finally the gal that is sitting down is so fed-up and push away her bag angrily and somehow they fought. The woman that is standing fall onto me and i help her and this young man came between them and split them away and asked them to stop. The gal that is sitting down said that she had already given way and the woman just ignored her.

From the ascent they talked or rather quarrelled, the gal that is sitting down is a singaporean and the woman is from China. Anyway, the china woman called the police from the bus but there is nothing that can be done as the bus is on the high way.

Eventually, the bus is heading back to Jurong and the sporean gal is trying to get down from the bus but the china woman prevent her from alighted from the bus and the singapore gal is so fed up and hit the china woman. This time, an auntie stood up and scold the spore gal. Finally the spore gal went ahead and get off from the bus and the china woman follow suit and the auntie who wanted to be the witness went off too. Before getting down from the bus, the auntie still tell the bus driver off. Asking him why he allowed the Spore gal to get off from the bus.

Anyway, the bus ride is back to peaceful after they went off.

What does this say about our society? Are people getting so uncilivised or are our patience running out easily? This is really getting so scary cause it is always not nice to see people engaging into this action. C’mon, it not that people around them love watching this type of “show”. At least, to me, this is very disturbing. Hope that this can be resloved amicably.
